Charles E. Henderson, 31, Hollidaysburg, passed away Monday at UPMC Altoona following a devastating abdominal injury. He was born in Altoona, the son of Evan W. and Linda L. (Lynam) Henderson.
Charlie is survived by his parents; a brother, Evan Pearce Henderson of Breckenridge, Colo.; his grandmothers, Virginia Lynam and Jane Vipond; and his special dog, Chloe.
He was a 2010 graduate of Hollidaysburg Senior High School.
Charlie had a personality that would light up a room. He was a friend to all and was loved by all who knew him. He always thought of others before himself. Over the past two years, Charlie had devoted himself to helping his mother in her battle with cancer.
He loved to ride his dirt bike and motorcycles.
A private celebration of Charlie's life will be held at the convenience of the family.
