I felt compelled to comment on Kirk Dodson's recent opinion letter where he has been pondering for most of his life as to why Blair County is "so staunchly Republican."
In particular, he writes about "woke" being the latest buzz word used by Republicans.
Woke was originally defined and used by progressives but has since gone full circle and is now the best way to describe the worst of leftist liberal ideology.
This one word encapsulates everything the left is pushing and that Republicans despise.
To me, woke can best be defined by policies and cultures that believe men can become women and women can become men, promote gender transforming genital mutilation of children, encourage the indoctrination of, with the intent to confuse children, provide perverted drag queen shows for children, are anti-Christian,
anti-religion, embrace socialism and Marxism, revise history to meet present day societal norms, believe in open borders, provide sanctuary cities for illegal aliens, believed four years ago that the world was going to end in 12 years (help, only 8 years left) due to climate change, and cancel or silence those who disagree with any of this.
And, as an added bonus, it is hardly absurd to think that Joe Biden has dementia.
Besides his daily stumbles and bumbles and shaking hands with people who aren't there, please recall him
looking out into the audience at a White House hunger event last September and repeatedly
calling out for Rep. Jackie
Walorski, who was killed in a car crash only a month earlier.
He even knew that he was scheduled to meet with her family later that day.
The excuses the lying,
liberal media made for him were embarrassing.
