Myher has big night in Portage girls win

PORTAGE — Britton Myher made her senior night a memorable one for Portage as she knocked down a school single-game record eight 3-pointers as part of a career-high 32 points in the Lady Mustangs’ 70-40 victory over Conemaugh Valley Thursday night in girls high school basketball play.
In the first quarter alone, Myher made 7-for-7 from downtown to account for 21 points as Portage racked up 31 points to just 11 for the Lady Bluejays.
Kendall Bednarski tallied 17 points to reach double figures as well for the 11-6 Lady Mustangs.
