WINDBER — Trevor Tustin rushed for 122 yards and a touchdown and returned a kickoff 77 yards for another score in Richland’s win over Forest Hills at Windber Stadium.
Richland quarterback Kellan Stahl threw for 158 yards and three scores and also ran in a touchdown.
Forest Hills fell to 0-3.
“We had opportunities,” Forest Hills coach Justin Myers said. “The first half, we played great. Take away a couple of their big plays, and we’re right there at halftime. The heartbreaker was the second half. The plays didn’t go our way.
“It’s one of those deals where the kids have to believe week in and week out that they’re going to get better. We’ve talked about believing all week, and they will. We’ll get some wins, I’m sure of it.”
