Bellwood’s Hayes announces retirement
Veteran Bellwood-Antis High School football coach and athletic director John Hayes is retiring.
Hayes informed his players of his intentions at a meeting Friday, according to the school newspaper website, “The B-A Blue Print.”
Hayes coached the Blue Devils for 38 seasons, amassing a record of 323-103-2, including six District 6 championships.
