DUNCANSVILLE — Seth Nicodemus, a student-athlete from Blair County Christian, was named “Small School National Soccer Player of the Year” by the National Christian Schools Athletic Association.
Nicodemus, who completed his senior season this past fall for the boys soccer team, totaled 48 goals and 10 assists for the Bobcats. His 48 goals was a school record for one season.
“Seth is a very skilled soccer player who has been able to play all over the field during the course of his career, from goaltender in the back all the way up front to the forward position,” the school said in a statement released to the Mirror. “His 48 goals and 10 assists this year shows his value to the team. As part of the team, he was respectful of the coaches and their philosophies of the game, willing to learn something different or adjust in the field situations. We’re praying that you continue to pursue the Lord in all you do, on and off the field.”
