MECHANICSBURG — Altoona fell behind 21-7 in the first quarter en route to a 74-46 loss at Cumberland Valley Thursday night in boys high school basketball action.
Altoona, which fell to 2-8, got 18 points, eight rebounds and four assists from Josh Lowery.
Cumberland Valley (8-2) got 23 points from Nolan Buzolka and 19 points from Jared Dolimpio.

CRESSON — Penn Cambria dropped to 3-5 with a 64-48 loss at home to Johnstown.
The Panthers, who were outscored, 11-4 in the fourth quarter, got 13 points each from Caden Gibbons and Brandon Rabish. Gavin Harrold added 10 points.
The Trojans (9-0) got 19 points from Amir Robinson and 16 points from Dante Tsinger.
