Ostinowsky has big night for Lady Huskies

EBENSBURG — Bishop Carroll pulled out a win over Penn Cambria, 48-46, in high school girls basketball action on Tuesday.

Madison Ostinowsky led the Lady Huskies with 22 points, and Ellie Long scored 12.

Marah Saleme led Penn Cambria with 15 points.

Third quarter lifts Altoona

CARLISLE — Faced with a 16-13 halftime deficit, Altoona outscored Carlisle 18-0 in the third quarter and went on to post a 44-32 Mid-Penn Commonwealth victory.

Senior Adalynn Cherry led the Lady Lions with 15 points, going 10-for-10 at the foul line, and Nevaeh Gibson scored nine points.
