Mustangs clinch WestPAC North Division

JOHNSTOWN — Portage clinched the WestPAC North championship with a 90-33 victory over Conemaugh Valley in high school boys basketball on Saturday.

The Mustangs, undefeated in the league, got 23 points from Kaden Claar and 15 points from Preston Rainey.

Panthers hold on

CRESSON — Penn Cambria allowed a 20-point third-quarter lead to shrink to five, but the Panthers held on to beat Bishop Carroll, 60-55, to finish off a 4-0 week.

Garrett Harrold scored a game-high 19 points, and Jake Tsikalas added 13 points for the Panthers.

Tommy Heinrich scored 17 points for the Huskies, and Nate Dumm added 12.
