Lady Pirates earn win in fourth quarter at JV

ALEXANDRIA — Williamsburg pulled away from Juniata Valley in the fourth quarter to post a 58-48 victory in high school girls basketball on Monday.

Freshmen Megan Palmer and Ayla Hileman led the way for the Lady Pirates with 14 and 11 points, respectively. Krista Simpson added nine points.

Olivia Smith led Valley with 26 points.
