Lady Lions pick up comeback victory
The Altoona Area Lady Lions rallied back from a halftime deficit and held off Harrisburg, 46-38, at the AAHS Fieldhouse on Friday in girls high school basketball action.
Altoona found itself down, 24-19, at halftime, but the Lady Lions roared to a 19-5 advantage in the third quarter to hold a nine-point lead heading to the fourth.
Senior Adalynn Cherry led the Lady Lions (3-1) with 22 points, and Ahnae Robinson scored 14 for Harrisburg.

DUNCANSVILLE — The Blair County Christian girls are 7-0 after a 40-24 win over DuBois Christian.
The Lady Bobcats, who outscored DuBois, 11-0, in the third quarter, got 18 points from Maddie Snyder, including four 3-pointers.
