Glass reaches 1,000 points

CLAYSBURG — Kyle Glass went over 1,000 career points in the second quarter and had 25 points for the game in Claysburg-Kimmel’s 62-52 win over Glendale in high school boys basketball action on Tuesday.

Parker Dibert added 11 points for the Bulldogs. Ryan Sinclair had 21 points to keep Glendale in the game.

Claysburg improved to 9-10 overall.

TYRONE — Tyrone jumped out to a 25-9 lead after one quarter and breezed past Philipsburg-Osceola in a Mountain League game.

Brandon Lucas led the Golden Eagles with 23 points, Damon Gripp scored 19, Blaine Hoover scored 18, and Landen DeHaas added 13 points.

Tyrone improved to 17-2 overall and 11-1 in the league. P-O, which got 14 points from Tristan Doyle, fell to 9-11 overall.
