Altoona now 12-10

Girls basketball

Altoona wrapped up its regular season with a 12-10 mark after a 66-62 win over Williamsport at the AAHS Fieldhouse in high school girls basketball action on Wednesday.

Caranda Perea led the Lady Lions with 16 points and 11 rebounds, Adalynn Cherry scored 12, and Adaliz Corbin added 11. Kailee Helmrich scored 11 for Williamsport.

Altoona will play State College in the District 6 Class 6A championship game on Friday, Feb. 21 at Mount Aloysius College.
