Bearcats maul Mount Union

HUNTINGDON — Huntingdon got double figures from Nick Gearhart (13), Jackson Ritchey (13), Tony Poorman (12) and Alec Cooper (11) in a 73-26 rout of Mount Union during the first round of the Huntingdon Lions Tournament at Juniata College Friday in high school boys basketball.

The Bearcats led, 24-6, after one quarter. They will face Southern Huntingdon in tonight’s championship game after a 69-44 win over Juniata Valley.
