Altoona girls top Harrisburg

H.S. girls basketball roundup

HARRISBURG — Bridgid Fox and Caranda Perea combined for 45 points to help Altoona knock off Harrisburg, 57-46, in high school girls basketball action on Wednesday.

Fox scored 26, and Perea connected on five 3-pointers and scored 19. The Lady Lions, playing without injured Olivia Hudson for the second straight game, improved to 8-6 overall and 7-3 in the Mid-Penn Conference Commonwealth Division.

Harrisburg received 25 points from Dajahnae Brannon.

Altoona hosts Central Dauphin on Friday with a 6:30 p.m. varsity tipoff.
