H.S. girls basketball

JOHNSTOWN — Emily Henry scored a team-high 15 points, Chloe Weakland scored 14, Olivia Conrad added 13 points and Abby Lobick finished with 10 points as Cambria Heights topped Richland, 65-24, in high school girls basketball action on Thursday.

JOHNSTOWN — McKenna Hayward scored a game-high 20 points to help Central Cambria down Westmont Hilltop and even its record at 2-2.

Liz Bopp added 11 points for the Lady Red Devils.

EBENSBURG — Bishop Carroll opened up a 39-13 halftime advantage and cruised past Chestnut Ridge in a Laurel Highlands Athletic Conference game.

Mara Yahner led the Lady Huskies with 13 points, and Abby Baker scored 10. Madelyn Hyde led Ridge with 17 points.

EVERETT — Everett bounced back from its Wednesday loss to Bellwood-Antis in a big way by crushing Forbes Road.

Junior Kaitlyn Maxwell led the way with 26 points, seven steals and five assists.

“It was nice to get on the floor and have immediate success after a tough loss,” Everett coach Keith Moyer said.

Brooke Colledge added 11 points for the Lady Warriors, who improved to 3-1.
