Athlete of the week achievement: Wheeler ran for a game-high 119 yards and a touchdown and also broke up a pass in the end zone on fourth down to thwart Belmont Charter’s first drive in BG’s 35-0 PIAA semifinal win.
Season update: Wheeler has rushed for 812 yards and four touchdowns on 98 carries and completed 94 passes for 1,351 yards and nine touchdowns. He’s intercepted two passes defensively.
