Athlete of the week achievement: Pellegrine had 26 carries for 110 yards and scored three touchdowns for Bellwood-Antis in its 34-33 win over McCort-Carroll. He also caught three passes for 76 yards.
Season update: Bellwood-Antis finished the regular season 7-3 and earned the No. 5 seed in the District 6 Class 2A playoffs and will travel to River Valley. Pellegrine carried the ball 83 times for 479 yards and seven touchdowns this year, and he’s caught 20 passes for 401 yards and three more scores.
