Season update: Zimmerman will be vying for the PIAA Class 1A championship at Hershey on Saturday. He was fifth last year.

How I got my start in cross country: “I started running on my own to get in shape in sixth grade, and I heard on announcements about sign-ups and figured it was worth trying.”

Future goal: Run a sub 4-minute mile, preach and help lead people to Christ
