Athlete of the week achievement: Stroup carried the ball 35 times for 234 yards and two touchdowns in Altoona’s 42-28 victory over Chambersburg.
Season update: Stroup has rushed for 402 yards and four touchdowns on 67 carries during the Mountain Lions’ 2-1 start to the season.
Coach Vince Nedimyer Jr.’s quote: “We pretty much challenged everybody after the Hollidaysburg game, and Ethan is a focal point of our offense.
