Athlete of the week achievement: Stevens won the District 4-6 Class 3A singles championship by beating four opponents, including the top seed and third seed. She also won singles matches in helping Altoona stay unbeaten as a team with wins over Hollidaysburg and Clearfield earlier in the week.

Season update: Stevens will play in the final eight of the state tournament in early November.
