Coach Mike Funicelli’s quote: “Cassidy is hard-working, dedicated, talented and yet humble at the same time. Very few freshmen golfers would have the mental fortitude to step up in a playoff against a senior for the district championship and par the hole to win. As soon as she joined the team, she was able to earn the respect of her teammates with her work ethic and ability. Cass is special, and I’m excited to see what the future holds for her.”
