Athlete of the week achievement: Focht was named MVP of the Curve Classic in leading the Scarlet Dragons to the title by holding Altoona to one hit in the championship game. He also three-hit Bellefonte earlier in the week, and he went 8-for-15 at the plate with seven RBIs in five Central wins.

Season update: Focht is hitting .400 (10-for-25) with 10 RBIs. On the mound, he’s 3-0 with a 0.79 ERA and 18 strikeouts.
