Athlete of the week achievement: Baran threw a two-hit shutout with nine strikeouts to help Tyrone beat Bellefonte for the first time in seven seasons, 5-0. She also allowed just three hits and struck out nine in a win over Penns Valley.
Season update: Baran is 3-0 with 33 strikeouts for the Lady Eagles.
