Athlete of the week achievement: McKeirnan won the Class 3A 200-yard freestyle event for the second straight year and also won the 100 butterfly in the District 6 Swimming and Diving Championships. He also finished second in the 200 medley relay and 400 free relay

Season update: McKeirnan’s top times this year are 50 free (22.39), 100 free (49.56), 200 IM (2:05.05), 100 breast (1:07.33), 100 back (56.66), 500 free (5:05.27), 200 free (1:45.89) and 100 fly (52.19).
