Athlete of the week achievement: McDannell led Carroll with 22 points in a 68-58 victory over North Clarion in the PIAA Class 1A playoffs on Friday night at Kane Area High School.

Season update: McDannell is averaging 19.3 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 2.2 steals per game for the Huskies.
