Athlete of the week achievement: Buckley won the gold medal in the Class 2A 50-yard freestyle event at the PIAA Swimming and Diving Championships with a time of 21.22 seconds. He also was ninth in the 100 free, 10th in the 200 free relay and 19th in the 400 free relay.

Season update: Buckley set school records in the 50 free (21.10), 100 free (47.32), 100 butterfly (55.77), 200 medley relay (1:47.36) and 200 free relay (1:30.67).
