Athlete of the week achievement: Shot a 74 in poor weather conditions to finish as the runner-up at the Class 2A PIAA Western Regional. The finish qualified Ferguson for the PIAA Championships.

Season update: Ferguson was the Mountain League MVP, tied for first place at the Wheeling Invitational and shot a round of 68 earlier this season.

He is a team guy, and his success in part is contributed to his teammates at both basketball and golf.
