Athlete of the week achievement: Mowry recorded back-to-back shutouts in goal for the Lady Bisons, shutting out Schuylkill Valley and Waynesburg Central to help Bedford reach the PIAA Class 2A semifinals.
Season update: Bedford is 23-0 and will play District 10 champion Mercyhurst Prep today in the semifinals. Mowry had seven saves against Schuylkill and 12 against Waynesburg Central.

She’s made saves with her feet and hands, and is getting better all season. She is becoming more of a vocal leader back there, and she’s just getting comfortable and building confidence.”
