Hollidaysburg Area High School hosting 3 events on Tuesday

Hollidaysburg will be filled with PIAA playoff action on Tuesday.
Beginning at 5 p.m., the Golden Tigers girls and boys will host first round state playoff soccer games at Tiger Stadium.
The girls open play with a game against WPIAL runner-up South Fayette, and the boys will play at 7 p.m. when they host WPIAL second-place finisher Franklin Regional.
Inside the school as those games are contested, the Hollidaysburg girls volleyball team will host WPIAL runner-up Oakland Catholic in a first-round PIAA playoff match at 6 p.m.
Not too far away, the Bishop Carroll-McCort boys soccer team will take on WPIAL runner-up Our Lady of the Sacred Heart in a first round PIAA playoff game at Forest Hills at 5 p.m.
The District 6 Class 1A girls soccer champions, Bishop Guilfoyle Academy, will have to hit the road when the Lady Marauders play at District 10 champion Seneca at 6 p.m. in another first round PIAA Class 1A playoff game.
Lindsay third
HERSHEY — Central Mountain junior Addison Lindsay, the defending PIAA Class 3A girls singles tennis champion, finished third at this year’s championship after falling in the semifinals.
Penn-Trafford’s Mia Williams, who was the second seed out of the WPIAL, defeated Lindsay, 7-6 (4), 6-4 in the semifinals and went on to beat Erika Dunwoody, 6-3, 6-0, for the state title on Saturday at the Hershey Racquet Club.
Lindsay rebounded with a 6-0, 6-1 win over Pragnya Joshi in the third-place match to earn a bronze medal.
