Frazier leads PSU to victory

UNIVERSITY PARK – Coming off a home loss to Rider, the Penn State women’s basketball team bounced back to record a 72-59 win over Fordham in collegiate action at the Bryce Jordan Center.

The Lady Lions (2-1), who led by only four, 16-12, after one quarter, got a big game from Siyeh Frazier, who scored 19 points and pulled down 10 rebounds. Teammate Lauren Ebo added 11 rebounds in a game the Lady Lions led at halftime, 29-24.

Penn State, which began to pull away in the third quarter with a 24-16 showing, got 14 points off the bench from Anna Camden, who was a perfect 4-for-4 from the 3-point line.

Fordham (0-3), which trailed, 53-40, heading into the final frame, got 19 points from Kendell Heremaia, including a 5-for-11 showing from the 3-point line.

The Lady Lions will host LaSalle on Sunday at 2 p.m.
