PSU women end season at 10-19

PISCATAWAY, N.J. –The Penn State women’s basketball team concluded the regular season with a tight 75-50 loss at Rutgers on Sunday afternoon.

The Lady Lions finished 10-19, 1-17 in the Big Ten, while Rutgers improved to 11-18, 3-15 Big Ten.

Redshirt-junior Grace Hall scored 16 points, and graduate guard Gabby Elliott scored 15 points.

SFU women edged

CHICAGO — The Saint Francis women’s basketball team dropped an overtime contest to Chicago State Saturday afternoon, 58-55.

Natalie Johnson poured in a career-high 25 points (11-for-21 from the field) with nine rebounds. The junior guard added three assists and two steals as well.

Ineivi Plata was the other Red Flash player that scored in double figures with 10 points. The freshman guard pitched in six rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block.

Harris Robinson neared a double double herself with eight points and eight rebounds.

Robinson hit a 3-pointer to give Saint Francis a 55-53 lead with 2:22 left in overtime, but that was the Flash’s final bucket as Chicago State scored the final five points and stopped SFU on its final possession to secure the win.
