Walker coming back for Lions

UNIVERSITY PARK — Penn State offensive tackle Rasheed Walker announced on Tuesday that he will return this fall for the 2021 season.

The left tackle is coming back for a fourth season with the football program.

Walker will play for new offensive coordinator Mike Yurcich, who was hired last week to replace Kirk Ciarrocca.

Walker played in four games as a true freshman in 2018 and then started 13 games in 2019 before earning first-team time in all nine game last year.

He will be a part of an offensive line for position coach Phil Trautwein that also returns 2020 starters such as Mike Miranda and Caedan Wallace.
