Game notes: The Lady Lions return home for the 14th-annual Play4Kay game benefitting Pink Zone. … PSU is still looking for its second conference win, having lost the last eight straight. Illinois also comes into today on a six-game losing streak of its own. Penn State has won the last eight games in this series, including a season sweep last season. … Petra Holesinska’s 13.7 ppg is a team-best for the Lady Illini. She is the only Illinois player averaging double digits on the season. Kennedi Myles averages a team-best 8.7 rebounds a game and 9.3 ppg.

Mirror prediction: Penn State 70, Illinois 69

Comment: This is PSU’s first real chance at a win in over a month after a murderers’ row of games recently. With games against Big Ten leaders Iowa and Maryland looming in the next two weeks, the Lady Lions would do well to find a way to get this one while the opportunity presents itself as the season begins to wind down with six games left.

Mirror prediction record: 17-6
