PSU’s Johnson will transfer
Penn State receiver Juwan Johnson confirmed late Friday night on social media that he does indeed plan to transfer.
News broke Friday that Johnson’s name is in the NCAA transfer portal, but that didn’t necessarily mean he would transfer for sure.
Johnson cleared everything up on his Instagram account.
“After talks with God, my family, and closest ones, I’ve decided to not play my final season at Penn State University,” he wrote.
Johnson later added, “Would also like to thank the ridiculous fan base for all the support. Seriously you guys are everything. PSU fans are second to none and I greatly appreciate them for a tremendous journey.”
Johnson also thanked coach James Franklin “for helping me grow as a man and the staff for the opportunities that I was able to enjoy. It’s truly a blessing. 84 out.”
