From Mirror reports

LOS ANGELES — Justin Turner hit two solo home runs off Pittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher Tyler Anderson Wednesday night to lead the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 2-1 win at PNC Park.

For the second night in a row, the Pirates played the defending champion Dodgers right down to the wire, only to come out on the losing side of things again. The Dodgers won Tuesday night, 5-3.

Pittsburgh got its only run in the bottom of the first when Gregory Polanco singled home Bryan Reynolds.

Turner homered in the top of the first and again in the third inning.

The Pirates left the bases loaded in the second inning, and finished with 11 runners total left on base.

Six Dodgers pitchers combined to shut down the Pirates as starter Tony Gonsalin didn’t make it out of the second inning.
