Lady Lions soccer roughs up Wildcats on the road

H.S. soccer

MILL HALL — The Altoona Area High School girls soccer team scored five goals in the first half and went on to beat Central Mountain, 9-0, Wednesday.

Ajaycia Alexander collected two goals, and Ava Frye contributed a goal and three assists. Other goal scorers were Sophia O’Dea, Sylvie Boslet, Grace Camberg, Mikayla Patterson, Natalie Bumbarger and Chloe Jones.

Haylee Rodriguez and Leah Nedimyer combined for a shutout in net.

PATTON — Emma Marasco delivered three goals and assisted on two others to propel the Bishop Guilfoyle girls past Cambria Heights, 6-0.

Hailey DeGol contributed a goal and three assists for the 4-0 Lady Marauders, and Delaney Lechner scored two goals. BG keeper Cece Rumfola made 11 saves.
