Coach Geno Foundation erupted for 15 runs and 12 hits against VFW Post No. 3 in a 15-2 victory in 4¢ innings during Game 1 of the 15U George B. Kelley Federation championship series on Friday night at Geesey Park.
Brendan Miller finished 3-for-3 with two runs scored, while winning pitcher Brayden Pike earned the victory with five strikeouts and two runs scored on offense.
Caleb Lawther collected two hits, including a double, and also drove in three runs for Coach Geno, while Liam Jancula knocked in a pair of runs.
Trey Burgan drove home both runs for VFW on two hits.

Davison tops Oldschool
DUNCANSVILLE — Davison Snack Company jumped out to a seven-run lead after three innings en route to a 9-3 victory over Oldschool Print and Embroidery in Game 1 of the 13U George B. Kelley Federation championship series at Sunbrook Park on Friday night.
Callan Mills led the way for Davison with two hits and two RBIs, while Michael Miller and Brennan Kirsch scored two runs apiece.
Madix Mellott tallied two of the three hits on the night for Oldschool.
