BROOKLYN — The Saint Francis softball team won its seventh NEC Tournament title since 2017 with a 6-0 win against LIU on Sunday morning.

Allie Braly, Addie Smith and Olivia Ulam made the NEC All-Tournament Team, with Savannah Nash earning Most Valuable Player.

“I’m so proud of this team. We just fought tooth and nail to get this title,” said Nash, who had a double and homer.

Ulam led SFU with three RBIs, and Braly pitched a shutout.

The Flash will face top-seeded Texas A&M in the four-team double-elimination Bryan-College Station Regional on Friday at 3:30 p.m.

Marist and Liberty meet in the other regional game at 1 p.m. with play continuing next Saturday and Sunday.
