Athlete of the week achievement: Kuntz was named the Outstanding Runner at the Bellwood-Antis Invitational. At that meet, he anchored a first-place effort in the 3200-meter relay, won the 1600 in 4:36.22 and won the 800 in 2:05.27. He also helped the Red Devils win the silver in the 1600 relay. Later in the week, he helped Central Cambria beat Penn Cambria, 96-54. Finally, at the Mountain Lion Classic, he won the 1600 in 4:32.52 and won the 800 in 2:02.09.
Season update: Kuntz ran a season-best in the 1600 and a personal best in the 800 at the Mountain Lion Classic on Friday.
