Altoona got two runs in the third inning, including the winning run, en route to a 4-1 victory over DuBois at Mansion Park Friday in high school baseball play.
Nick Kraft came through with two RBIs for the Mountain Lions, which managed just three hits on the afternoon, while Eric McAllister earned the win with one hit and four strikeouts.

CLAYSBURG — Claysburg-Kimmel busted out the bats with 16 runs, including eight in the third, and 13 hits in a 16-0, five-inning win over Berlin Brothersvalley.
Dustin Slowik went 3-for-3 with three runs scored and five RBIs for the Bulldogs, while Landon Douglas singled, doubled and homered with four runs and three runs batted in.
Gavin Treon smacked three hits, scored three runs and pushed across three teammates, while Mason Campagna singled, doubled twice and drove in a pair for C-K, and Brayden Haney earned the win on the mound by limited the Mountaineers to three hits.
