TYRONE — Kaitlyn Rockwell struck out 10 batters and allowed just three hits in a complete-game shutout that helped Tyrone down Penns Valley, 4-0, in high school softball on Thursday.

Sage Harris drove in two runs for the Lady Eagles, and Lucy Fogleman had two hits and an RBI.

HOLLIDAYSBURG — Bellwood-Antis avenged a loss from earlier in the season with a 9-5 victory over Hollidaysburg.

Palynn Gregg had three hits, including a double, and drove in a run, and London McKee had two RBIs for the Lady Blue Devils.

Sophia Morris had two hits for Hollidaysburg.

In a game Wednesday, Hollidaysburg was no-hit by Chestnut Ridge’s Britni Motter, who struck out 10 and walked none in a 13-0 Lady Lions victory.
