CRESSON — Jace Davison grounded out to score Corbin Vinglish in the bottom of the ninth inning as Penn Cambria delivered a 2-1 walkoff win over Chestnut Ridge Wednesday in high school baseball.

Both teams scored runs in the third inning which kept the game tied at 1-1 until the ninth.

Vinglish finished with two hits on the day, while Ryan Hanlon and Caden Gibbons had two hits apiece for the Panthers.

Colts take two

NORTHERN CAMBRIA — Cambria Heights dropped a doubleheader to Northern Cambria by scores of 5-1 and 4-1..

In the opener, Heights managed its only runs in the top of the seventh as Lobick came in to score.

Garrett Jasper cracked two doubles to account for half of the Highlanders’ hits.

In the nightcap, Heights gave up the winning run in the top of the sixth inning before the Colts tacked on two more in the seventh to set the final.

Nolan Clawson led Cambria Heights with two hits, while Ethan Kline delivered the lone RBI on the evening.
