LOYSBURG — Northern Bedford’s Ava Helsel drove home Alexia Helsel for a walk-off 11-10 victory over Fannett-Metal in the bottom of the 10th inning in high school softball on Monday.

The first nine innings of the game were played on March 28 before darkness suspended the game.

Winning pitcher Mylee Mitchell struck out 19 and had three hits, including a home run, for the Lady Panthers.
