Athlete of the week achievement: Frazier ran 12.57 in the 100-meter dash to take the top spot in the Mirror honor roll, and helped Hollidaysburg defeat Central Chestnut Ridge and Johnstown by winning the 100 and 200 dashes.
Season update: Frazier leads the Mirror honor roll in both the 100 and the 200, where her time is 26.5.
Coach Don Tantius’ quote: “For those that may not know, Elizabeth has been ‘practicing’ with our high school indoor team every winter since fifth grade. Her hard work has sure paid off. She has been having a breakout season with double wins in most all dual meets. She was tasked to running a leg of the 1600 relay this year and has shaken off the first-time blah to now running splits that we coaches knew she was capable of.”
