Undefeated Bellwood-Antis downs Williamsburg

BELLWOOD — Avah Hassler had 20 service points with eight aces, and Lydia Worthing recorded 12 kills, to lead Bellwood-Antis to a 25-8, 25-7, 25-5 victory over Williamsburg Tuesday night in girls high school volleyball action.

Hailee McConnell added 18 assists and 10 service points for the Lady Blue Devils, who improved to 3-0.

Records: Williamsburg (0-2); Bellwood-Antis (3-0).

CH tops United

PATTON — Cambria Heights lost the first set, 25-23, before rallying to win the next three, 27-25, 28-26, 25-22, in a closely contested win over United.

Makenzie Mulraney had 11 kills, Maelyn Dutko had 25 assists, and Savannah Coover had 11 service points and 15 digs.

Kaprice Cavalet had 21 service points, and Alyvia Rutter added 19 service points. Cavalet had 18 kills and Alyssa Sinclair had 14 points.

JV: Glendale, 25-15, 25-15.

C-K triumphs

CLAYSBURG — Claysburg-Kimmel lost to Tussey Mountain, 25-21, 24-26, 25-19, 25-13.

The Lady Bulldogs got 18 service points and nine kills from Emma Gill to go with16 service points each from Emalee Cavender and Chelsie Noah. Cavender also added 16 kills.

Arissa Hinish added 15 assists to go with 13 assists from Ally Dicken.

Northern falters

EVERETT — Northern Bedford fell to 0-2 with a 25-8, 25-18, 25-13 loss at Everett.

The Lady Panthers got nine digs and five service points from Lainie Sipes to go with six service points and five assists from Lacy McIlnay.
