Tiger hockey loses first

JOHNSTOWN — The Hollidaysburg ice hockey team dropped its first game of the season Tuesday night, losing to Westmont Hilltop, 5-2, at 1st Summit Arena @ Cambria County Arena in high school action.

The Golden Tigers, who fell to 7-1, led 2-1 after one period behind two goals from Zach Dunlap, with assists from Carson Young and Jack Becker, respectively.

However, the Hilltoppers scored twice in the second period and two more times in the third to earn the win. Tony Marino and Aiden Rice each had two goals for Westmont. Teammate Derek George added a solo goal.
