Lady Tigers’ duo too much for P-O

PHILIPSBURG — Abby Bell scored two goals, and Sophia Blescia stopped five shots while recording a shutout in Hollidaysburg’s 2-0 victory over Philipsburg-Osceola Monday night in girls high school soccer action.

The Lady Tigers, up 1-0 at the break, improved to 12-5 and clinched the Mountain League title with the win.

Lady Panthers roll

LOYSBURG — Abby Kline scored four goals and Mariah Hall added three more as Northern Bedford beat Tussey Mountain, 11-0.

Ashley Kichman added two goals for the Lady Panthers (15-1-1) who will host Tussey Mountain again on Wednesday, but this time in the District 5 playoffs at 6 p.m.
