Hollidaysburg wins opener

JOHNSTOWN — The Hollidaysburg ice hockey team opened its season Tuesday night with a 9-0 win over Richland at the 1st Summit Arena at the Cambria County War Memorial Arena.

Kaden Kirkham had two goals and an assist for the Golden Tigers, who broke open a 1-0 game with five goals in the second period.

Teammate Ty Burket added one goal and three assists. Goalie Tyler Duey got the shutout with 16 saves.
