Flash have new operations director
LORETTO — Saint Francis University men’s basketball head coach Rob Krimmel has named Joe Causgrove Director of Men’s Basketball Operations.
Causgrove replaces Andy Niland, who took a position with the Milwaukee Bucks of the National Basketball Association.
Causgrove comes to Loretto after serving as an assistant coach at Mercyhurst University for the last two years. He helped Mercyhurst post a 32-9 record in the two seasons and the team advanced to the NCAA Tournament in both seasons. Causgrove earned his Masters Degree in Organizational
Leadership in 2021.
He served as a student assistant coach at Penn State Behrend in 2018-19, helping the team capture the AMCC championship and participate in the NCAA Division III Tournament with a 25-6 record. Causgrove graduated from Behrend with a Bachelor’s degree in Project and Supply Chain Management.

JOHNSTOWN — Olivia Mooij and Ella Garner each had two goals and an assist, and Avery Black also had two goals to lead Central to a 12-0 victory over Johnstown Thursday in high school girls soccer.
